Water in a parched land, 41 new wells, solving the worlds water problem one family at a time.

Dear Friends

Wanted to show what WFA is up to and why I get so crazy about WFA and love what we do.   Below 41 of the 130 wells done so far this year in our WFA water clubs In Bolivia and Ethiopia.  Cayo just sent them.  These shown are deep wells usually 100-200 feet deep or so.  Each giving unthought-of freedom and opportunity  and drought protection to families.   Thanks so much to all of you for making all this possible.  I just love these folks and what a huge privilege it is to help them.   Getting an email like this makes it all worth the work.  The guys are continuing to drill and are forming new water clubs .  Teo says the Bible story tellers helping one of the clubs drew big crowds as they told stories in the evenings after rope pulling all day.  The community invited them to come back every Friday for more.   Spiritual water and physical water both flowing around in a dry place.   There is still so much work to do. Remember all these folks drilled and now own their own well due to our program working directly with poor families and communities, forming water clubs,  lending drilling rigs, and teaching them to drill.  Our guys are now going back doing follow up to make sure all the pumps good and to get data on families etc..   We try to take a picture and get final follow up data on each well and family.  Plus visit the friends made. We are a very small outfit and in the big scheme of things this is small potatoes but for each family well owner it is a big deal, a very big potato.   They now have water on their farms and hope for the future.   You can see from the photos how dry and smoky it still is.

Left is a from the recent drilling class.  We had a great, great class, drilled a hard well, and had great fellowship with Africans from all over.  Great fellowship and so inspirational.  Gods Kingdom is awesome.  We expect great things from this group.  Folks either from or working in Congo, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Sudan, Israel,  Zambia, and Ethiopia were at the course.  What an event!   Great fellowship with believers committed to helping the poorest of the poor.  Later this month I help a group from former course do some practice and get ready to go to Niger and Sierra Leon.  Also heard another group has done 10 wells using our method in Zambia.  Wow!.   Also  our friend Paul who is drilling in Nicaragua just texted me.  5 new wells there.   Jeremy and I are making a rig for supper hard rock.  Test are going great!  I checked the spread sheet and the running world wide count of wells we know about done with our drilling method is now at 2,490.    The new hard rock addition will make wells in the hardest places possible.  Pray for those trials.  Also pray for Rob in seminary till he heads to Ethiopia in January.

Thanks so much for praying and keep praying..  Joe and I will be in Bolivia in November.  Also the big news is Rick and Sherry Gregory (back row next to Joe) are headed with us to our partner in Uganda!!!  Pray for them as they get ready to go in January.   Also it looks like we might get to lease the place we were looking at in Paint Rock for WFA to have a home training camp.  A supper nice family from Crane owns it and we met and we are looking in to it.  Pray for them and for us that it works out.   We are overrun with training requests.   The folks above were outstanding people, all doing amazing ministries.

Thanks Yall!!!   Keep praying for WFA!  Help us keep this up and expand and start more WFA’s around the world and inspire others to do the same!   Just think if we get Uganda up and going we will have small programs in 3 countries to inspire others!   See the drilling class photo and then look at the families helped. (my favorite is the onion patch) These families below are why we are doing all this and why we want to expand training.  To encourage others to go do the same.  The needs are so great.  Again thanks for praying for us and making all this possible!!!!    We live on your prayers.   Terry
